AutoCAD rendering module error: Failed to get capabilities

If AutoCAD Electrical or AutoCAD Civil 3D is installed on a Publisher cluster node to use with the AutoCAD rendering module, the error Failed to get capabilities for the "AutoCad (...)" rendering module: System.InvalidOperationException: AutoCAD start timeout can occur. This occurs during scanning of the node for rendering applications or during rendering if the Meridian Enterprise Server is not run as a logged on user. The problem in this configuration is that one or more of the AutoCAD ARX modules that are required for the industry features fails to load.

There are two known workarounds for this problem:

1. Set an AutoCAD user profile as the default that does not load the AutoCAD ARX modules (for example, the profile named Vanilla).
2. Configure Meridian Enterprise Server to run as a logged on user as described in “Configuring Enterprise Server to not run as a service” in the BlueCielo Meridian Enterprise Server Administrator's Guide.
